Soccer Recap: Rockmart Comes Up Short

The matchup between Rockmart and Sonoraville on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Rockmart Yellowjackets came up short against the Sonoraville Phoenix, falling 9-0. The loss leaves the Yellowjackets still looking for their first win of the season.

Rockmart's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sonoraville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Rockmart will venture away from home to challenge Ringgold at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sonoraville, they will take on Union County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
