Baseball Game Preview: Waite Indians vs. Rogers Rams

For the second straight game, Waite will face off against Rogers. The Indians will square off against the Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

While Waite's victory against Rogers wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Rams 5-4.

For Rogers' part, Dawson Davenport was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. Davenport was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, two doubles, and one run.

In other batting news, Jo'Zeiah Hodges-Harris made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another player making a difference was Kaden Krall, who earned one run and two stolen bases.

Rogers has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Waite, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
