Basketball Game Preview: Stansbury Stallions vs. Jordan Beetdiggers

The Stansbury Stallions will head out on the road to challenge the Jordan Beetdiggers at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Jordan took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Stansbury, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Stansbury turned things around against Park City on Friday. They managed a 77-72 victory over the Miners.

Meanwhile, Jordan played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 71-51 to Hillcrest. The Beetdiggers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-16.

Stansbury will need focus on slowing down Jackson Ostler, one of several Jordan players who made an impact when they last played. He went 5 of 7 on his way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Tolley, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 12 points.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Stansbury, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-12.

Stansbury couldn't quite finish off Jordan when the teams last played back in February of 2024 and fell 60-57. Can Stansbury avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
