Soccer Game Preview: Bloomingdale vs. Sunlake

The Bloomingdale Bulls will take on the Sunlake Seahawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bloomingdale is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

Bloomingdale is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Bayside a 4-0 shutout. The Bulls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Bayside with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sophia Maxwell (2), Eleya Jackson, and Mya Cripe.

Meanwhile, while the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Sunlake who was credited with the win on Tuesday. Sunlake got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to Oviedo's six.

Bloomingdale's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Sunlake, their win bumped their record up to 15-1-1.
