Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Trojans vs. Liberty Ranch Hawks
Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Liberty Ranch Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
While Lincoln had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18.
Liberty Ranch can attribute much of their success to Gaby Arevalo, who had four digs and 11 assists.
Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Liberty Ranch, their victory bumped their record up to 25-4.
Lincoln will look to defend their home court on Thursday against West at 6:30 p.m. Liberty Ranch has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Buhach Colony on the 5th.
