They fell just short of the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 59-57 on Saturday. The Thunder just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Lake Region lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jaden McCoy, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave McCoy a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Lynkon Ricks, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 11 points.

Lake Region's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Trinity Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-10.
