Basketball Recap: Pollok Central Bulldogs vs. Hudson Hornets
After losing to Hudson the last time they met, Pollok Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pollok Central Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 41-24 win over the Hudson Hornets on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Pollok Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Wyatt Graham out in front who shot 4-for-6 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds Graham has posted since back in November. The team also got some help courtesy of Dillan Hatcher, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 11 points and seven rebounds.
Pollok Central's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Hudson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.
Pollok Central and Woodville will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hudson, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lorena at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday. Lorena is coming into the matchup with three straight wins on the road, so Hudson will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
