Jefferson Forest has gone a perfect 10-0 against Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cavaliers will be playing at home against the Minutemen at 7:30 p.m. Jefferson Forest is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Jefferson Forest barely beat Rustburg the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 15-4 victory on Friday. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by seven runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Liberty came into Monday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 5-2 win over Gretna on Monday.

Aiden Cottrell made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Spencer Grant, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

Liberty always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Jefferson Forest pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 2-13.

Jefferson Forest took their win against Liberty in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 12-2 score. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Minutemen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
