Volleyball Recap: de Toledo Comes Up Short

De Toledo lost against Oakwood back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jaguars fell 3-1 to the Owls. The Jaguars just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

De Toledo started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-16, 25-14, 25-15.

De Toledo's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Oakwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

De Toledo has already played their next contest (against Vasquez), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Oakwood, they will be taking part in a tournament against Roosevelt at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
