Siena Freitas' Rushing Yards a New Career-High

Starting off the list is Los Banos's Siena Freitas, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Thursday Freitas picked up 63 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 33 yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Los Banos has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. Freitas and Los Banos will venture away from home to face off against Atwater at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lejarde Posts Huge Game in 42-12 Win

Antonia Lejarde posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. She threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.8% of her passes, and also rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown. She is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for three or more in the last six games she's played.

Buhach Colony had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Lejarde it was a similar story. When Lejarde last faced the Thunder on October 1st, she threw for 342 yards and six touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Buhach Colony Comes Up Short Despite Huge Game from Underclassman Emily Gallegos

Underclassman Emily Gallegos came into Thursday's contest looking to prove herself and that's exactly what she did. She was dynamite on Thursday, rushing for 60 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 75 receiving yards.

Gallegos might have her next game, a road matchup with Golden Valley, circled on her calendar. Two weeks ago (the last time Gallegos saw the Cougars), she picked up 100 receiving yards, and also rushed for 60 yards.

Atwater Wins Tenth-Straight Thanks to Madison Hiler

Madison Hiler's big game helped extend Atwater's winning streak to ten on Thursday. Hiler rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 89 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Atwater's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Hiler and Atwater will challenge Los Banos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
