Soccer Recap: Brooks Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Brooks after they claimed the first goal on Monday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Haleyville by a score of 2-1.

Brooks now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Haleyville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brooks will square off against Wilson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brooks is facing Wilson at the right time seeing as Wilson is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Haleyville, they will take on Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Haleyville will be up against Hamilton's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.29 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
