Soccer Recap: Gaffney Takes a Loss

Gaffney lost against Wade Hampton back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians came up short against the Generals, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that Gaffney have lost by exactly eight goals.

Gaffney dropped their record down to 2-15 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Wade Hampton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gaffney will face off against Spartanburg at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Gaffney are facing Spartanburg at the right time seeing as Spartanburg are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Wade Hampton, they will square off against James F. Byrnes at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wade Hampton's defense better be ready for this one: James F. Byrnes have averaged an impressive 3.1 goals per game this season.
