Volleyball Recap: Westerville North Comes Up Short

Westerville North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dublin Coffman Shamrocks. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Shamrocks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16, 22-25, 25-16.

Dublin Coffman's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Milena Brennan, who had eight digs and three assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Lawerenson, who had ten digs and two aces.

Westerville North's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Westerville North has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Hilliard Darby on the 21st. As for Dublin Coffman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Marysville on the 23rd.
