Soccer Recap: East Juniata Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, East Juniata was not quite Millville's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell just short of the Quakers by a score of 2-1. East Juniata were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Millville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2018.

This is the second loss in a row for East Juniata and nudges their season record down to 2-4-1. As for Millville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season.

As for Millville, they will challenge Sullivan County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Millville will be up against Sullivan County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.14 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
