Softball Recap: Corry Wins Going Away Against Cathedral Prep

While Corry put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Cathedral Prep. The Beavers were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Ramblers. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won three matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Corry and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Cathedral Prep, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Corry will be playing at home against Conneaut Area at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Beavers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Cathedral Prep, they are taking a road trip to take on Sharpsville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.5 runs per game on average), something the Ramblers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
