Softball Recap: E.E. Smith Comes Up Short

E.E. Smith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to the Triton Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

E.E. Smith's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Triton, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

E.E. Smith didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 23-5 loss against Overhills on the 18th. As for Triton, they have also already played their next game, a 19-1 win against Terry Sanford on the 18th.
