For the second straight game, New Berlin West will face off against Pewaukee. The Vikings will venture away from home to take on the Pirates at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. New Berlin West is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

New Berlin West is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Pewaukee on Tuesday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. The contest marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

New Berlin West got a good showing from Tyler Vetch, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. What's more, Vetch gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in May of 2024.

At the plate, Rocco Conrad was cooking despite his team's loss, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-4. Those home runs marked the first that he has launched this season.

The victory keeps Pewaukee at an undefeated 9-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 9.8 runs this season. As for New Berlin West, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
