What's more, he gave up only two walks, the fewest he's had since back in April. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Cocalico's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is 2-1 (and 0-14 when he doesn't).
Fox wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Dane Horning, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base. Nick McArdle also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Cocalico's defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Solanco, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-8.
