Baseball Recap: Henry Ford Academy Comes Up Short

Henry Ford Academy got a massive performance out of Evan Brown, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two runs. Brown has become a key player for the Navigators: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 1-4 otherwise. Rell White was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases and two runs.

Henry Ford Academy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Hope Christian Academy, their victory ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Henry Ford Academy will host Summit Academy North at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Summit Academy North will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Henry Ford Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hope Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Southfield Christian at 4:30 p.m. on May 6.
