Softball Recap: St. Scholastica Takes a Loss

St. Scholastica came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 16-1 to the French Settlement Lions.

St. Scholastica saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Pontiff, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

St. Scholastica now has a losing record of 8-9. As for French Settlement, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.

St. Scholastica will challenge Pine at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for French Settlement, they will take on Holden at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
