Baseball Game Preview: Piedmont Wildcats vs. Eisenhower Eagles

For the second straight game, Piedmont will face off against Eisenhower. The Wildcats will welcome the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Piedmont knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Eisenhower likes a good challenge.

Piedmont's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Eisenhower 10-0. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Piedmont's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Eisenhower, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
