Passers beware: Aidan Welch came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made two total tackles, helping propel Central past Lamar by a score of 55-20. We hope Welch's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Central's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on West Stanly at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Colts will enter the matchup having just beaten Albemarle, so the Eagles will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
