Peyton Borden and Ayden Ramirez secure win for Freer

Recap: Freer Buckaroos vs. Banquete Bulldogs
The Freer Buckaroos won the last time they faced the Banquete Bulldogs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Freer came out on top against Banquete by a score of 49-38.
Freer was led to victory by Peyton Borden and Ayden Ramirez . Borden scored 17 points along with three steals, while Ramirez scored 21 points along with four steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Ramirez has scored at least 25% of Freer's points. Another player making a difference was Tristan Lerma , who scored two points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Freer's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-9. As for Banquete, they bumped their record down to 1-13 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
Freer will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Falfurrias at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Falfurrias will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. Banquete will be home for the holidays to greet Skidmore-Tynan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Skidmore-Tynan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Banquete in Texas (Skidmore-Tynan is ranked 394th, while Banquete is ranked 1660th).
