A well-balanced attack led Pilot Point over Life Oak Cliff in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bearcats blew the Lions out of the water with a 62-21 final score. Considering the Bearcats have won seven games by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Josh Chumley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 120 yards and four TDs on only 14 carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ashton Williamson, who rushed for 56 yards and one touchdown on only five carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Pilot Point was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 431 rushing yards. They rushed for 214 more rushing yards than Life Oak Cliff's also-impressive total of 217.

Life Oak Cliff lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Joshua Washington, who picked up 135 receiving yards and one score. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 78 yards. Life Oak Cliff also got a significant boost from Jatavion Smith-Adams, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 88 yards.

Pilot Point has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 42.7 points. As for Life Oak Cliff, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Pilot Point will take on West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' defense has only allowed 13.1 points per game this season, so the Bearcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. Life Oak Cliff does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
