Soccer Recap: Folsom Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Folsom Bulldogs didn't have quite enough to beat the Granite Bay Grizzlies and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by just one goal.

Folsom has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-3 record this season. As for Granite Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4-5.

Folsom and Granite Bay could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Folsom (ranked 444th) will meet Whitney (ranked 47th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Granite Bay will square off against Rocklin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 158 places (295 vs. 137).
