O'Connor waltzed into their game on Friday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They blew past the Madison Mavericks 11-4. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Faith Mayfield spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on six hits and racked up 13 Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Meiko Dominguez, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Isabella Sierra was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

O'Connor was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in nine consecutive contests.

O'Connor's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Madison, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

O'Connor will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mavericks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
