Leake Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Nowell. Another thorn in Pillow Academy's side was Coby Kemp, who made 14 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Leake Academy pushed their record up to 4-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Pillow Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
