Football Game Recap: Hale vs. Coweta

On Thursday, Coweta put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Hale 49-6. That looming 43-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Coweta yet.

Coweta's victory brought them up to 3-5. Hale are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

The teams are both focusing on improving their conference standings in their upcoming contests. Next week Coweta will take on Bishop Kelley at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. Hale will be staying on the road, facing off against Ada. Neither Hale nor Ada could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
