With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 117 rushing yards per game. Bay Path RVT also got a significant boost from Gabe Ortiz, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bay Path RVT was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 420 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Uxbridge). They strolled past Blackstone Valley RVT with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 55-40. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Beavers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Bay Path RVT better keep an eye on Camden Lachapelle. He was instrumental in Uxbridge's win, rushing for 265 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry, and also picking up 41 receiving yards. What's more, he's the contest marked his 20th straight with at least 122 dating back to last season.
Bay Path RVT's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Uxbridge, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Bay Path RVT has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 222 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Uxbridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging 220.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Bay Path RVT suffered a grim 45-24 defeat to Uxbridge when the teams last played back in November of 2017. Will the Minutemen have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other football content.
