Baseball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Windermere's Winning Streak

Windermere fell victim to The First Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Royals. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Royals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

With the defeat, Windermere broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-5. As for The First Academy, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Windermere wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-2 victory against Boone on the 7th. Hopefully The First Academy payed attention to the Wolverines' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
