Miller City had won two straight games and Payton Michel did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Wildcats blew past the Paulding Panthers 3-0 thanks in part to Michel, who had four digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last 19 times she's played.

Miller City's got stronger as the match went on, holding Paulding to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Paulding still got an impressive performance from Addi Pease, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Miller City's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Paulding, they moved to 5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
