Recap: St. Francis Indian vs. McLaughlin
McLaughlin won the last time they faced St. Francis Indian, and things went their way on Friday, too. McLaughlin were the clear victor with a 30-0 margin. They were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped McLaughlin's record up to 3-0. St. Francis Indian are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
After their action against one another, the teams are leaving the conference to test themselves against outside opponents. Next week McLaughlin take on Pine Ridge at 6:00 PM. As for St. Francis Indian, they will face off against Red Cloud. St. Francis Indian come in off of 3 low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
