Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Helena). Everything went their way against the Bessemer City Tigers on Thursday as Helena made off with a 13-0 victory. Considering Helena have won five games by more than four goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Helena used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Bessemer City. Three players hit the pitch for the first time this season: Kate Higgins, Nathalie Morris, and Campbell Gibbs. The pair took full advantage of the opportunity: Morris scored two goals and one assist, while she scored two goals and one assist.

The win made it two in a row for Helena and bumps their season record up to 6-6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those two contests. As for Bessemer City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-12-1 record this season.
