Recap: Susquehanna Township HANNA vs. East Pennsboro Panthers
It was a good run, but The Susquehanna Township HANNA unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of East Pennsboro by a score of 31-28. Susquehanna Township was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as East Pennsboro apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
East Pennsboro got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Keith Oates iii out in front who threw for 206 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Oates iii is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last six games he's played. Jj Gossard was another key contributor, gaining 116 total yards and two touchdowns.
Susquehanna Township's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for East Pennsboro, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.
Susquehanna Township will head out on the road to face off against Gettysburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Pennsboro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Waynesboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waynesboro is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
