Roosevelt waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Marshalltown Bobcats as they made off with an 8-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Riders, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Marshalltown, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Coming up, Roosevelt is taking a road trip to take on Norwalk at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Marshalltown, they will square off against Lincoln at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
