Recap: Christ's Church Academy Eagles vs. Eagle's View Warriors
The Christ's Church Academy Eagles had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They put the hurt on Eagle's View with a sharp 40-16 win. The result was nothing new for Christ's Church Academy, who have now won four matches by 24 points or more so far this season.
Christ's Church Academy was led to victory by Patrick Setzer and Kyree Wilson. Setzer rushed for 142 yards while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, while Wilson rushed for 175 yards on only 13 carries.
Christ's Church Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.0 points per game. As for Eagle's View, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christ's Church Academy will stay at home for another week and welcome Zarephath Academy at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Both teams might be coming in a bit winded given how much these teams ran in their prior games. As for Eagle's View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cornerstone Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
