Volleyball Recap: Chesterton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Chesterton entered their tilt with Valparaiso on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Chesterton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Valparaiso between 15 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-15.

Tenley Davis paced Chesterton's offense, picking up 15 kills. Davis got some help from Reese Dilbeck and her 18 assists.

Chesterton's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Valparaiso, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chesterton is set to take on their familiar foe Crown Point at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Valparaiso will square off against rival Merrillville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
