It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Peyton Panthers had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 77-38 victory over the Wildcats. The win was just business As usual For Peyton, who after 22 games remain undefeated this season.

It was another big night for AJ Mannering, who scored 37 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That makes it 16 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Peyton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abbie Nickell, who scored 17 points along with five steals.

Despite the defeat, St. Mary's Academy saw an underclassman step up: Madison High scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points High has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Emily Rodriguez, who scored two points along with five rebounds and three blocks.

Peyton pushed their record up to 22-0 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 57.8 points. As for St. Mary's Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.

Peyton will square off against Strasburg at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday. Strasburg is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. St. Mary's Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
