Basketball Recap: Divide County Find Success

Divide County won the last time they faced Westhope/Newburg and things went their way on Friday too. The Maroons walked away with a 56-49 win over the Sioux.

Despite the loss, Westhope/Newburg still got an impressive performance from Macy Bryans, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 17 rebounds. Marleigh Henry was another key player, putting up ten points and five boards.

Divide County now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Westhope/Newburg, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-15.

Divide County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Kenmare/Bowbells at 7:15 p.m. on the 16th. Westhope/Newburg has already played their next contest (against Velva), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
