Middle College won the last time they faced Horace Mann UCLA Community and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Middle College was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 19-25, 19-25, 25-17, 15-5.

Middle College's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Horace Mann UCLA Community, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Middle College will venture away from home to challenge Animo South Los Angeles at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Horace Mann UCLA Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
