Basketball Recap: Monroe Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Monroe, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They secured a 66-61 W over the Oakwood Lumberjacks on Saturday. This was payback for the Hornets, who suffered a 52-47 loss the last time these two teams met.

Monroe is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Oakwood, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-2.
