Basketball Recap: West Bolivar Takes a Loss

West Bolivar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 35th straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 34-20 to the Shaw Warriors. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-18 on January 3rd.

West Bolivar's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Shaw, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-14 record.

West Bolivar has already played their next match, a 29-22 loss against West Tallahatchie on the 28th. As for Shaw, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-41 win against South Delta on the 28th.
