Teutopolis waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Tuscola Warriors. The Wooden Shoes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.
Alyssa Tipton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than 12 strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Mallory Bloemer was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Hoene, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one double.
