            The De La Salle Meteors will venture away from home to  challenge the Marian Catholic Spartans  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Marian Catholic took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on De La Salle, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, De La Salle made easy work of Clemente  and carried off  a  13-4 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Meteors.

 Kaleb Navarro made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and only one walk). That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  Jenaro Negron was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and two  runs.  Francisco Rodriguez was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Marian Catholic lost  10-4 to Brother Rice on Friday. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost five in a row.
 De La Salle's win was  their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 2-0.the team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team won's by an average of 11.6 runs thus far As for Marian Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
