Basketball Recap: Potomac Falls Find Success

While Potomac Falls didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They snuck past the Broad Run Spartans with a 51-46 victory on Thursday. The score was all tied up 28-28 at the break, but the Panthers were the better team in the second half.

Potomac Falls' win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Broad Run, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Potomac Falls won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Dominion at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Broad Run, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Westfield at 7:15 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
