Volleyball Recap: Elkhart's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Elkhart had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the DeKalb Barons by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Kaiden Henderson paced Elkhart's offense, picking up six kills. Henderson got some help from Kayden Jones and his six assists. Henderson was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Elkhart's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for DeKalb, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Coincidentally, Elkhart and DeKalb will both be playing South Bend Riley the next time they take the court. The Barons will head out to face the Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
