Baseball Recap: Century's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Winona last Thursday, Century came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Mankato East Cougars by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Century fell to 2-1. As for Mankato East, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Century beat the Cougars by a score of 5-4 later that day.
