Basketball Recap: Parker Takes a Loss

If Parker was riding high fresh off their 54-12 takedown of Tonopah Valley last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Parker Broncs were outmatched by the Yuma Catholic Shamrocks and fell 60-27. The loss continues a trend for the Broncs in their matchups with the Shamrocks: they've now lost three in a row.

Parker's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-9. As for Yuma Catholic, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parker will face off against Chino Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Yuma Catholic, they will challenge Odyssey Institute at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
