Basketball Recap: Cairo Takes a Loss

Cairo lost against Frankfort back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cairo Pilots took a 69-54 bruising from the Frankfort Redbirds.

Cairo has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Frankfort, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-13.

When Cairo and Frankfort next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Cairo will square off against Crab Orchard and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Frankfort will try to stop DuQuoin's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th.
