Meanwhile, Houghton Academy had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Hinsdale Central by a score of 40-28 on Thursday. That 12 point margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

Houghton Academy's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Campbell-Savona, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
